Linderman siphon leak

The Linderman siphon leak got worse in the past month. We had Larry Anderson clean the ditch below the leak to divert water from Shannon’s alfalfa and we had Dan Laursen come out to measure the leak. The leak is roughly 1 CFS which is about double what it was this spring. We found the drain valve to be leaking substantially which is approximately 1/3 of the leak. We will replace the valve after the canal is turned off. We are trying to find an engineer to assess the siphon leak and give us an estimate on what the repairs will cost so we can make some decisions on where to find the money to fix it.
